Title: voluntary dead
Post by: cem_devecioglu on 04 October 2007, 21:55:58
Phew..just come back from night job.

Needed to send some data from one health organization to eurotb.Finished late nearly 23 PM..

On a dark wide road (lights are not working) 4 wide lanes I see something dark but movin to the road   :-?  :o (nearly 50-60 meters- speed 100-110 km/h).

No matter what is I force the brakes .. the last 20 meters was obvious only one human face   :o  an old man trying to run to the other

side and passed at the limit (ABS was close to working)..If I was not tired and do another 20-30 km extra speed the man was

dead ..

What I dont understand still is how this man think he can pass the road ? Nuts  >:(

ps: I think seeing sideways is more important than the road itself ..thanks my front lights..

Very lucky. There is no substitute for all round observation and driving within the limits of the car, conditions and the driver.

Glad you're both OK.  :y

Night times generally I dont have courage to drive fast anyway..Too many drunks and cowboys around..

But was really bad his dresses were all black ..and painfully slow on the run..

When the roads are empty at night they think theres no limit for speed and no traffic lights..

Take a Break will you guys. This started off as a perfectly sensible thread about an old Turkish fella who almost killed himself under Cem's car and you drag it down into a discussion on chocolate bars.

This is no Turkish Delight.  ;D

Right, back on topic (bugger). I guess with the sky being so clear in Turkey, what with the lack of rain, you must have got a great view of the Milky Way (double bugger).
