Title: slow to turn this morning

It was a bit on the cold side this morn, about 3 degrees round here, jumped in the car, flicked the ignition and all the needles flickered like mad, this i know is a sign of poor battery voltage, went to turn it over and she only just caught  :-/

at the battery she is getting 14.5 volts, it is a vaux battery that is only 18 months old and is green on the spyglass, nothing wa left on overnight and i am a bit worried as i live miles from anywhere and getting into work will be a real mare if i have a problem.

I want to check for a voltage drain, any suggestions as to where i should be looking? So far i have checked the boot light, interior lights and parking lights, none of those are staying on

The car does a fair bit of mileage per week and so shouldn't be getting to the point where it is not chargine the battery through lack of use

I had this intermittently on my last Omega, had a garage check it out for two days, nothing wrong.
Turned out I was leaving the indicator on occasionally & therefor the parking light  :-[

Did you check battery heads, are they clean and touch perfectly ?

Seen 2 issues before, both would flatten it completely - heated rear window relay sticking, and a CDL motor problem.

i had this problem and firstly renewed the battery. then a week later the bloody same thing happened so i checked everything but could not find a problem?  the only thing i could think it may have been was a slightly opened vanity mirror left by my 11 going on 23 year old. if it is worrying you then do as i have done buy one of these booster pack-

it can be trickle charged from the ciggy socket or mains and you have the options of a light and a tyre pump.
