:o :o I think the Turkish government has been taking lessons in taxation from the British government. ;D

Yet holidays in Turkey are very cheap for us in the UK - it must be because we fly there instead of driving! ::) ;D

Yep..you are right for taxation...

I have friends from UK, meet them in vacation..Expect too see some people from this group also..If you want to visit here PM me I'll try my best..And keep you away from the bad hotels..

PS: stay away from cheap tours.. Fethiye(Ölüdeniz) and Bodrum are the best places..

here the rooms are cheap but drinks and food is really expensive if you go wrong places..

Near the sea shore (Ölüdeniz) will be very nice.Previous year (before last) we were one group (English and Turkish) and really we enjoyed it.

Coming with megas will be very expensive as the road is very long and tiring to pass all those borders..

Yep..Possibly you are surprised with the prices. Government taxes make the cars here very expensive from the start..(Minimum twice or 3 times of Europe for unused)..But their prices dont drop like in your country..
