Just did a valuation if my car at the Vauxhall site.
Vauxhall Omega CD
2.6 Petrol 4-door Saloon
4 Speed Automatic Rear Wheel Drive
Year: 2001 Y
Mileage: 97,000
Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £1500
Average condition: £1340
Below average condition: £1170
I suppose mine would be worth just over £2000 as a PX.
Now that is unbelievable - 2.2s on Network Q are at £6500
I would want £4000 to part with mine
-
well i could take it off your hands :y
for 4000p ::)
-
Omega = depreciation!!
-
Correct, there not worth much, we know better that they are diamonds.
Wifes X reg 69k fsh 2.5cdx was picked up for £1600 with full years tax and test /cambelt kit <2k.
Now 4000miles later its required nothing more than the servicing i have given it. Bodywork spotless interior unmarked.
Bargain cars to buy, horrendous if your a new to nearly new seller trying to get rid of...

Yeah, facelifts seem to be dropping in value. I guess prefacelifts have dropped as far as they can, and facelifts are now dropping to the 'bargain basement' figures now...

You don't want to know what it cost me 6 years ago back in 2001...

Most of the cars are like a deep hole in the budget..You pay loads of money initially.
After for repair,tax,insurance,fuel etc. Mine totaly cost more then 15000 £ excluding fuel,tax,insurance.. :(
