Title: Cambelt, how tight?
Post by: rdv on 19 December 2007, 17:41:27
Just how do you judge the correct tension on the v6 cambelt. Most other belts suggest twisting through 90 deg. with finger and thumb pressure on the longest straight belt run but I cant find the info for the GM v6

Set the tensioner 3/4mm past the centre marker... so the marking is on the upper edge.

Get a copy of the DVD :y
