Title: 2.5 Petrol Engine Water Pump
Post by: mervyncp on 24 December 2007, 11:44:07
I am thinking of buying a @97 Omega estate that allegedly needs a new water pump (massive water leak).
What is involved in replacing the pump?
How difficult a job is it?
Is this a common fault?
The vehicle has done 228K
Thanks in advance
Mervyn

Fairly easy, need to remove some bits.  If you don't need cambelt history, do that at same time.  We do a DVD for £3 that covers cambelt and waterpump replacement on V6

Would you happen to have a copy laying around as I will need to do my cam belt in the very near future?
