Title: Rear Axle LEAK!

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE AND ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR, HAS ANYONE HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH AXLES LEAKING WAS UNDER CAR TODAY LOOKING AT AXLE NOTICED THE FRONT WHERE THE PRO-SHAFT IS ATTACTED WAS A BIT OILY   :-? , MY CAR IS A V6 OMEGA CDX 2000 ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFULL THANKS    :y

The pinion oil seals do weep when the diff gets hot....nothing to much to worry about until it gets quite wet....

As Mark says they can look a bit leaky but if nothing is dripping on your drive you're probably OK.

Mine looked bad but the oil level didn't go down in 20k miles.

Check the oil in the diff, top it up if necessary and see how you go.

Mine's a bit oiled up at the front too. What's the best method to top up the oil  ?

you can buy the oil with a long tube which comes with it,  to assist you, best to leave car on flat ground take level plug out fill till you see oil coming out level hole.
