Title: Rear Differential Fill Plug

Happy New Year Everyone!

I recently topped off the rear differential.  I cleaned the plug very well and the hole, but my filler plug sticks out about 3mm...is this normal?  I couldn't tell the appropriate distance when taking it out (though it is at least 22NM) because of caked on grease.

That is correct....it sticks out a little
