 run out of fuel so filled up now car starts then dies straight away any ideas???????? :-?

blocked filter maybe having sucked in some debris from bottom of tank

Did you replace the fuel filter?

Has it run for any length of time since, if so, worth checking cats.

Is the engine management light on?

If diesel, needs bleeding.

What engine and year?

petrol 2.5 v6 did run for a bit and yes engine light is on  :-?

silly question, did you put the right fuel in?
