Does anyone live in the Newton Abbott area? Although not an Omega (similar but better ;)) I'm thinking about this car clicky (http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_popup.jsp?searchform=&modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&photo=1&state=none&sort=&hassearched=Y&make=VAUXHALL&min_pr=75&source=0&model=SENATOR&max_pr=&miles=1500&agerange=&mileage=&postcode=bl8+1xw&variant=&bodyid=0&trim=&fuelid=0&colour=&transmissionid=0&keywords=&ukcarsearch_full.x=27&ukcarsearch_full.y=14&start=2&distance=220&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200740295932899)
If anyone had a few minutes spare time to give it a quick once over ...... I'm a bit far away :( I haven't spoken/contacted the seller yet, I just fancied finding out what it was like (rear arches, front chassis leg etc) before I spoke to him/her.

Tunnies had been hammered over Europe & back! ;D ;D ;)

yes but at least you new that he had looked after it, i think that all cars with this type of Engine are going to
get hammered at one time or another,
But some of the Staines in Tunnies car looked a bit dodgy to me ;D

If the body is tidy, it could very well be worth it. After all how much is an Omega worth? They suffer just as much as a Senator/Carlton did but in different places. Omegas rot at the top of the doors, pull check straps through - Senators dissolve rear arches and chassis legs, strut tops. horses for courses.

I love Sennies & had a Carlton so look carefully & if it seems ok then why not. Much as some like to playfully mock without these we would'nt have our Migs. :y
