If the guys paid for an engine replacement, he's got to ask that kind of money. If the cars genuine, it'll be worth every penny. (Ask Roger Budden) :o

Full service history but the cambelt went at 74k, either its not been changed at the service interval or I'd be asking whoever changed it to replace the engine at their cost.

This is why I no longer offer a mobile mechanics service.....

is this james on marias profile?

reaeing that advet he didn't get a recon engine, he eneded up with a replacement tbat had 31'000 on it and 'certified' as well, sorry but that counts for little and wouldn't justify a 4K price tag I would say he is about a grand out.
the differences between recon nd another engine are huge, and its manual as well

had a look at this one, new engine put me off at first, but then so did the price as its well over my budget, but new engine or original engine, if its looked after then you're taking the same chances

Give over, I saw this a few weeks ago. It's still a great buy and that really is no mileage. If I wanted one, wouldn't hurt to take a look.

I'm afraid not all dealers are up to speed with the change to 40k  ::)
