Probably the most silly question asked on here but here goes. Am I right in thinking that my 2000 X plate mega is the B model :question I only ask as I want to get some irmscher gear for it and don't want to get the wrong stuff.

Indeed it is a B, the confusion arises as some spares people call the facelift Omega (from late '99 on) a 'C'.
So unless you can open your boot without pressing a button, you have a facelift B!! :)

I don't know if I should be impressed or worried for you by knowing Wikipedia has an Omega explanation !?

lol well i did enjoy reading it but i can't take the credit for finding the page, there was a link in a previous post. i did a lot of reading over the weekend and can't remember where tho!
every time i think about ditching the meega for something more fuel efficient or smaller - i just drive it, or come back here and think: nah, i only do 8000 miles a year - might as well love it! :y
