hi all does any body the easiest way to siphon fuel out of my 1999 omega 2.5v6 thanks all :y
-
you may struggle to get advice about that on here because people may be concerned about putting info on a public forum which could enable theives to nick the fuel out of their cars :-X

I personally would disconnect the fuel return line from the injector rail, connect a length of pipe into a jerry can and run the engine.
Depends why you need to drain it. If it's due to misfuelling the above obviously won't work.

what about disconnecting the fuel filter and geting it out from there ?

The fuel pump will only run if the engine is running (apart from a short priming burst) and I don't think fuel will flow through it easily without it running.
Could always wire a temporary supply to the fuel pump, I guess.

Just take the fuel feed off the injector rail, extend it with a hose and place into a suitable container
Then stick 12 volts across the fuel pump in the boot area, and watch it all drain out :)
Or if it's a scrapper, do what I did once, drill a hole in the tank ::)

Don't make any sparks though! :o

Petrol tanks are plastic, so should be ok?

Correct, although I always use a hand drill ;)
