I am doing this job during the holiday break. I have read the Haynes manual, watched the OOF DVD, got the Timing kit and all the parts. BUT, on this version of the V6 3.2 L the lower idler pulley is not adjustable.
Has anyone changed belt on this version to say how cams 3 & 4 are adjusted if you cannot adjust the lower idler

Cams 3 and 4 are timed up just by getting the right number of teeth between them and the crank pulley. Easy if the belt has markings on, but VX have started selling belts without. >:(
I found turning the crank back a tooth helped getting the belt on as it gives a little slack over the idler pulley.
Cams 1 and 2 are then lined up by adjusting the central idler as in the dvd to remove the slack from this part of the belt. Then crank back to TDC, adjust the tensioner pulley, unlock and give the crank 2 turns and see if everything's lined up.
