Title: synthetic oil

im just wondering if it is worth going fully synthetic the engine has done 112000  (2.5 v6 auto) still sounds reasonable.

Not worth the extra money. Semi is perfect for the engine ;)

The key with engines and oil is to change it regularly and use the stuff thats recommended ;)

Probably the worse thing to do (might be too thin on older engines).

Just stick to 4-5k oil changes with Vx semi ;)

Yes Mate stick to whats VX says (semi-synthetic) for that engine and its not too expensive at the mo.
