Omega 2.0 1996 Heater Problem
I wonder if anybody can help. Although I have tried posting else ware without success Problem is that all 4 of the coloured, (Blue, Green, Yellow, Brown) vacuum pipes from behind the distribution selector switch have been disconnected and taped up hence air distribution will not work. The back of the control has a rubber plug with 5 connectors marked UML, RES, DEF, IN, FUSS, Can anybody tell me which pipe goes to which connector. The yellow pipe has vacuum to it so I assume that this is the input to the connector but when connected to the IN socket there is no vacuum on any other sockets.

If you have a Haynes manual, it's laid out on diag 8.65
on page 3.8.
In Haynes they are laid out left to right as:
Blue To Recirc Air Valve
Yellow To Vac Reservoir
Green To Footwell Valve
Brown To Defroster Valve
I don't know how much the schematic resembles reality in it's
physical layout, but this should give you a 'Starter for Ten'. :)

By the way, I notice you said you had 5 connections, not 4
as per Haynes. Check that one of them is not an electrical
connection that connects the Recirc Air Switch to the Recirc
Solenoid Valve.
