Title: problems are still there
Post by: Doodley on 09 February 2008, 15:57:54
in my other thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1202324831 i had some problems with the car, eml light came on occasionaly (never more than 10secs at the longest time)

read the codes and got
19 - crankshaft sensor
38 - oxygen sensor - low voltage
73 - air flow sensor - low voltage

i replaced crankshaft sensor, and was told that this might be causing the other codes.

everything seemed ok, but now its starting again, keeps dropping revs when hot and sometimes cuts out, eml made a brief apperance again, but that was it, went out again.

read the codes again and all the same codes are there, including crank sensor! grr  >:(

can anybody suggest what to try next? I dont particulaly want to keep replacing sensors until its ok, they cost to much!!

the exhaust is blowing slightly, at the join from cat to centre section on the nearside,is there any possibility that this could have something to do with it?

have you tried cleaning your icv with carb spray :y the revs and cutting out sound like it needs a clean or replacing ;)
