Title: 98 MV6 MID problem

HI

The Multi function display on my MV6 has started cycling through all the modes constantly. If i hold the reset button it stops briefly but then keeps cycling through again, I changed the stalk with the switches but to no avail, Does anyone know what would cause this? Its the later type screen with the small digits on the top half of the MID display, No pixels missing either.
