Title: EGR valve
Post by: amba on 11 February 2008, 14:10:34
Gave the engine a gentle clean today and degrease with gunk. When started engine to check all was ok noticed bubbles coming from the joint of the EGR round valve body and the casting.Looks like a brass coloured plate with a black seal or gasket under it.Doesn,t appear to be any way of tightening this so was wondering if this should be a total airtight seal or would a small amount of gas escape as with eth traces of water left after the clean it seems to be letting gas?? out.
