found this...
https://sslrelay.com/buypartsby.co.uk/timing-belt-kit-info.php?recordID=6714
is this the right belt kit for my engine? my engine number is 08283533.
it seems a bit cheap compared to the prices i've seen elsewhere, even with the vat it's still only just over £60.
has anyone ever used this company?
any input is appreciated ;)

I quite like the Contitech kits.
Cant be sure its the right one for yours though although I have some spare back plates which are the only major difference.
Buypartsby is the internet sales side of Sutton Auto Factors (based around nottingham) who I use quite a bit for parts.

ah right, i've just found out that with delivery it's £71 which is still cheaper than anywhere else i've found.
just wondered if anyone else used this make, thanks mate :y

If anybody wants any buypartsby items for the cambelt do then I can collect them......they work out a little more over the counter though.
-
If these kits are OK, it might be worth asking them for a discount for a bulk purchase :y

found an even cheaper kit on the bay..
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Omega-Vectra-B-Cavalier-V6-Cam-Timing-Belt-Kit_W0QQitemZ360021629595QQihZ023QQcategoryZ10404QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
seems a bit too cheap tbh, is the make any good?

The Ebay link above (not the buypartsby one) shows a cambelt without a tensioner....

yeah i know, i sent him a question asking exactly what parts are in the kit and he replied saying "the pic shows all the parts in the kit" ::)
i think i'll leave that one alone.
