Title: What is the Purge valve what does it do.

Not sure it the car has one but if it dose what dose it do and how dose it work.

Its a solenoid valve mounted on the back of the 1-3-5 head (drivers side) and allows the carbon canister in the drivers side wheel arch (traps petrol fumes) to be vented into the inlet.

Only if it gets physicaly damaged....
