Title: Omega Haynes Manuals
Post by: DaveyDavey on 19 February 2008, 15:53:35
Someone was after a Haynes manaual the other day, can't find the thread so thought I would start another one.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1859605109/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1203433151&sr=8-1

I'm after one myself and since I can't find one on Ebay, thought that Amazon would be the next best place to look.

Mind you, the "how to" guides on here are so good it does make me wonder whether I actually need a manual in the first place. Sure I can stretch to £10 though.

The do come up quite often on Ebay for a fiver or so. Worth keeping an eye on it if you don't need it desperately.

Did they ever do one for the later 3.2 and 2.6?

When I last checked with Haynes, the Manual for the facelift was in the "under consideration" phase.

No they stopped them before facelift in 1999

My mate runs a spares shop, he says that the new Haynes should be out soon.
We'll have to see  ::)

You can find all Haynes manuals available from their site.
Following link shows that the post 2000 Omega is short-listed.

http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=15245&langId=-1

If you have a scout around their site, you'll find some interesting
books on Fuel Injection and control systems.

It's also quite surprising what else they do manuals on.
Move over the Kama Sutra.   :o
