Not uncommon :(
Not aware of a fix, other than bodging with superglue :'(

I found that superglue wouldn't touch the kind of plastic the adjusters are made from - it's oily in feel - but I successfully used an epoxy glue ie Araldite. That was about a year ago & so far, so good.

sorry to tell you this but there is nothing that works. :( hte problem with arladite is you might not be able to adjust them after and it becomes brittle after awhile.
our lights both got broken buy the VX garage >:( >:( and we tried everything and my hubby is a glue specialist.
we had to buy new ones in the end. £160 for a brand new pair. you can pick them up cheeper on ebay or from a breakers.

I used Permabond 'Double Bubble' & is still intact. The adjuster was silicon sprayed before glueing & does adjust within all the glue.
I'd have 'welded' the bits together with a a hot soldering iron before I spent £160! Could've been worse though - Senator's headlights were the best part of £300 each

unfortunatly for me it was one massive jigsaw puzzle. found out how they broke them, using an electric allan key. >:( >:( >:(

You (apparently) can get aluminium replacements (think probably handmade things) for these which if course will be a lot harder wearing...but dont know where to get them from unfortunately...
£183 a light new sounds more like the normal price for projector headlights...would be interested to know where you got them for £160 for a pair new for genuine Vaux projector headlights???
