You can have one at cost but buy your own padlock

I am waiting on Issunaz to price the U brackets and the cables I need to order.

When I sell a few I will order some cables.

Looks like you may be second customer after the cable chap.

What if they cut the plastic tubing and stick it together with superglue  ::)

Padlock + cable + bracket = more than a new one on Ebay. :-X

I do need a Carver drain plug if you come across any Pikey's when doing your trials  :y

Well the Whale is £40, last one I watched on Ebay went for about £42 second hand, I reckon I could sell with lock for 20 - 25 depending on Izzunaz rates

Haven't heard of that, but you will occasionally get people looking around sites at night hunting for things.

Very good  :)  :y

But you have just nearly "scared off" a "social" ( avoiding the dreaded word!!) aquaintance !!  He is looking to get a Miggy as a tow car .. and I recommended the site to him as a source of good info... he came, looked and went.... convinced that 'van owners are not welcome !!

I have explained the "joke" to him and he promises to reconsider .... but perhaps a "word" in the news would allay any others fears  ?  :)

I don't mind ..broad shoulders and all that rubbish ... but some newer folks might not see the joke straight away ??

Just my 2.7 p's worth (inc VAT)   :)

there would be nothing wrong with caravans, if there movement on the road was restricted, so they could only move between 1 am. to 5.30am ::) :)

Entwood has had comments, I have had comments, how many other people have been scared off?

Not too long ago the idea of a new forum came about because of certain different views on Omega ownership IIRC.

I am always vary about posting on caravan issues as there are plenty of forums for that purpose but it needs to be accepted that there are a large number of Omegas on the road because they are excellent tow cars so that element has to be taken into consideration as well, not for caravaning but as owners of Omegas who occasionally attach something to the back.

Personaly I see the funny side and have no problems with people with different views making comment but I can understand why there have been comments received by first time visitors. Maybe to protect the innocent a new ruling should be that no car with a towbar can be OOFed or a not caravan friendly icon for posts.

Also a bit of continuity would be good, was the last meet not held at a CARAVAN and camping site? ;D

I wasn't offended, neither was Entwood but if people tell us, we need to act.

As to caravans, yes I have said "bloody caravans!" while towing :o
