Title: Cambelt change on a 2.2 facelift
Post by: mark.adams on 26 February 2008, 17:02:39
Is it an easy-ish job, considering the jobs i've done recently, could i attempt it over a weekend, bearing in mind i need the car working mon-fri...
Its not due or overdue yet in fact it was done at 57K and car is now on 70K.. but better safe than sorry eh?

Pretty straightforward - nothing like as much to do as the V6.

I think you'll need a locking device (few quid?) for the cams, also should do the waterpump at the same time (runs off the cambelt).

I think I saw that there was a 2L DVD available now which would be worthwhile having.
