Title: Spark Plug change on 2.5V6 T-reg 1999 Omega
Post by: perfferle on 26 February 2008, 21:56:55
Hi,

REF: 2.5 V6 Omega Reflection, T-reg / 1999 model.

I have checked through the maintenance guides for this procedure and I noticed that the car/engine in the pictures looks slightly different to my V6. Please advise if you can recommend a method to replace plugs on my model engine.

Thanks,
P.

Only major differences are in the size of the plenum in later models (longer) and the coil per plug of the later models instead of a dispack and seperate leads.  Otherwise, procedure is very much the same on the v6's....

What differences do you refer to??

Right you are - the plenum just looked different.

I Planned / am planning to change s/plugs(U-type original) this weekend and knowing that rocker gaskets are shagged I decided today to attempt to do the breather at that time AND are now considering to tackle rocker cover gaskets.  Wish me luck.

Thanks :y.

Good luck :)

You won't need it if you follow the "how to's" in the maintainance section.

I did breathers and both rockers gaskets (one twice cos I'm a numpty) in a weekend...

If I can do em... anyone can .. :)
