Do I 'have' to take the inlet off, or can I just do it with the scuttle off??
I need to get access first to get the partnumber so I know which once I need, and then when I have it, to change it...
Can't find any how-to guides on it so thought it may be worth asking!
I know Pete did his at the cambelt party, but his engine as a whole was all stripped to bugger anyways to do the exhaust manifold!

when i done mine i took of the inlet off for better access and it was still no easy to get to ,if you can get the plug of you will be able to see if it is square plug or oval and be able to tell what dis pac you need ( the later type ending in *****17 is oval hth

Well I checked the EPC, and I can see major difference between early and interim packs, but the only difference between interim and late is the number... which is what I'm after to begin with!
Doesnt help me having big hands lol!

It is possible with just the scuttle removed.
Patence is the key to a dis-pack change ;)

Pop the scuttle off and look at the shape of the connector and if its Horizontal or Vertical (I am sure yours is horizontal).....this will tell you which DIS pack you need.

Bring it around Paul, it will only take 15 mins to find out which pack you need and once youve got it I will give you a hand to fit it :y
