You need five, and its down to chassis number, so check you VIN...

Ok I will order them then, but do these 5 lights light everything up + signs and LO, HI?

Yes, there is one bulb for each of the 3 LCD displays and then the other two bulbs light the switches by the use of light pipes (and hence why LED's arnt to good in these positions)
-
right thanks :y

I have just got back from Vx, I asked for the 5 climate bulbs which again they said they had to order, he got these bulbs up on screen and said there are 4, I said no mate there are three, no denfinately four.... ok i have part numbers at home what is the part number of the four bulbs you have, so he wrote the down
4 x 9120630 bulb
so whats going on?
-
There are definitely 5 of them LK. (where does 3 come from?)

i replaced my ECC bulbs at the weekend; i think i fit 5. one for each of the backlights on the LEDs and two for the generic illuminations.
bulbs were £2.49 a pair from my local motor centre, but beware, theyre the snap in / snap out variety, DONT THROW AWAY THE BULB HOUSING on the old bulbs.
you can buy new ones already moulded into new bulb housing but they don't sit anywhere near as flush and require the help of Mr. Sellotape to hold in place.
or so I've heard.... ;)

mine weren't the pullout type - maybe that the difference between the two versions..?
I bought 10 from this place

good job because I trashed 2 or 3 fitting them - bloody fiddly.

Well him at Vauxhall said these bulbs were £3.16 each >:(

They were a little cheaper at my Vauxhall £28-?? for a pack of 10. :o
I went to Halfords, but even there they weren't much cheaper. :(
-
Some of the aftermarket bulbs are absolute cr*p. Stick with the GM ones if poss. The best aftermarket ones i found that fitted were made by Ring and come in a pack of 10, but i still broke 2 trying to fit them as they are very tight to turn to lock in >:(

My problem was getting my hands/fingers in. I'd to use snipe nose pliers to even stand a chance.
-
The GM ones and the Ring ones you can remove with a 8mm socket with a bit of tissue in the end to grip the bulb a little tighter ;)

The original lamps do have a hex head for a socket, the green 2.0W lamp he gave me though didn't have & were the same as the Halford's 1.2W

i used a pair of slim pliers and an absolute must for most auto-toolkits; a pair of tweezers!
im surprised at the cost of the bulbs you're all mentioning, i'm more than happy with the ones i bought and at £2.49 a pair it sounds like they're pretty outstanding value!

Sounds like he gave you the wrong ones Andy >:(

We both knew it at the time, but it was FOC so I didn't complain, besides it came in handy a few days later when I was sorting out my lad's Astra F centre console lights.

It can stop without them its doing my head in

All 5 are the same, which one depends on your VIN (your MV6 will be 2nd one).

Ah right so there are two different types for certain years ::) well the part number he gave me from the chassis number looks like the bottom one too, right i will order 5 of them then, i was thinking there was three of the top part number and say two of the bottom :-?
-
No, see the chassis number - -T1147499 - that is the breakpoint when it changed.
