Title: Camber monkeys
Post by: HerefordElite on 07 March 2008, 14:12:51
Just had my tyres changed by the local tyre place - bunch of pikeys but only £5 a wheel.
I mentioned changing the wishbones and asked if they do wheel alignment and camber adjustment to which he replied "no - but you can't adjust the camber on these"
I pointed to the adjustment bolts on the steering knuckle but he wouldn't have it!! >:(

Maddeningly,  some of the Bosch service/setup database systems don't include the camber set on an Omega...

I've found it quite common for your local " Motor Specialist" garages to say the camber is not adjustable. Once you have put them right and show them the bolts, they usually say something like " Well I never knew that" So what else don't they know.
