It keeps coming on in my 2.2.........doesnt go off until I restart...
Read the ABS ECU with cheapo tech2....
C0070....Front right outlet solenoid valve circuit malfunction...
Any ideas what that means?
-
I'm guessing the solenoid valves are built into the ABS valve block itself, so part of the ABS/TC ECU. Could be a dodgy connection between the valve block and the ECU's PCB I guess. :-/

Hmmm....give the ECU a tap as a starter....
-
Vx's diagnostics is.......no checking anything.......
Change the ABS ECU and if that doest fix it......
Change the ABS Hydraulic Unit.
Sounds nice and cheap fix then ::) :'(
BTW where is the ABS ECU? and how hard should I tap it Mark?
Small/medium hammer or Sammy Sledge?
-
cant miss it, bolted to side of abs actuator (bit near pas res, with all brake pipes going to it). Gentle tap to free sticky relays....
-
Ah rite.........cheers peeps :y .....I'll give that a go in the morning.....and let you know what happens.....
If it makes any difference to diagnosis.....the light doesnt come on every time I press the brakes......but when it does I always have the pedal pressed.
