Title: Crank Sensor. Where is it???

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me where i can find the crank sensor on a 2L X20 XEV

And if in the same place as a 2.2 (which is suspect it is) a PITA to get to........removing the dipstick housing helps  :y

Im not so sure this is the cause now, just done the paperclip test again and the following codes have come up.

0335 crankshaft sensor
0340 camshaft sensor
0352 Ignition coil 2 & 3 (this is a new one since last time i did it)

Would any of them cause the rest of the faults??

Whats happening:
Going along as normal, revs on dash go very high then go low then high but not in reality, acceleration gone, loss of power and eventually cuts out.

Any help welcomed.

The rpm counter is indicating a crank sensor fault as is at least one of the fault codes, I personaly would be changing the cam sensor a well.

The ignition coil might be a rogue at this satge but, do check the plug leads for oil (although in reality the ECU only monitors the pimary side of the coil).

Replaced crank sensor and all is well and good for now.
Will be changing the cam sensor also shortly.
A tip for anyone else that does this. Wait untill the exhaust cools down prior to doing the job (I got no hairs on my arms now!!) ;D
And reroute the cable a different way.

Tools used 2 torx sockets E11 And E12.
