Title: Wiring looms

Are the wiring looms the same or do they change for different engine sizes trim levals ect.
ie would the loom be the same for a 98 manual 2.0 gls  and a 98 auto  2.5 cdx.

2.0 are well different to 2.5 think 2.5/3.0 are same ! :y

Is that all of the loom or are bits of it the same. I have a 2.5 doner car and want to put the interior and rear electric windows into my 2.0.
do you know if i can change the interior loom or would the bits be ther for the rear windows heated seats ect

just the engine bay loom different bud all rest is same no worries !! all interior and door looms same across the range apart from the basic models like ed and select  :y

When you put leccy window motors in you will have to change the complete loom in the door if it's like the vectra you might have to cut the central locking cables and join the new ones with scotchlocks, the wiring for the switches should be tucked away under the switch panel.
Yuo may even be lucky and find the looms for fhe leccy seats tucked away under the carpets.

Im changing whole door so hopefully that shouldnt be a problem as for the seats i guess i'll son find out.

Thanks. Do you know if the cruse control is a complete seperate unit or does that use part of the loom

thats plug and play on early models plug is on drivers side turret top bud !! :y

Have a look in the tech info section there is a complete  cruise control into an omega post  by hotel21 ,all the wiring should be there.
