Title: Immobiliser Problems????????

Hi All
          Am about to exchange the engine in my 1994 Omega est. (X20XEV) for another X20XEV out of a pre 1998 omega. Will i haave any problems with the immobiliser. Thanks Julian.

Presumably IR setup?  That shouldn't be a problem, or is easily worked around if it is.

If its RF, thats more complicated.

    Thanks for the prompt response if it was ir then it would have the reciever up by the sun roof control??
     Does it make a difference if the donor car had air con as i intended to use the rad out of the donor care too.

Swap the lump and keep the injector loom, ecu etc....
