Title: Faulty dash read out
Post by: oilee on 17 March 2008, 23:36:03
Hi folks, Can anyone help, the centre dash computer readout on my 95 2.5turbo diesel estate seems to be missing a few lights, part of the readout s are missing on all three levels making it hard to read some of the info given, i.e time, radio channel, range, etc. Will i have to replace whole unit if so any idea how much and does any one have a good second hand one
                              Cheers  Oilee.
                                                      :)

Just better to change it, ive got a couple of good ones but it will need reprograming to the car as they are not from a diesel

As stated above...you will need to pop it out and have a look at what connectors are on the back...most likely black and yelloy connectors for a 95...but unless you get one from a diesel it will need reprogramming...cost wise...about £30 or so...

Cheers guys
i guess i'll have to pull dash out first so that will be fun,
More important jobs to attend to first but will keep those spares in mind
     BIG THANKS :)
