i have a 2 button key fob and i need to reprogramme it, since it doesnt operate.
It belongs to the car with the frequency 433.92 (so i guess its radio not IR).
i did a bit of searching about and i see that most of `em are quite simple just enter the vehicle turn the key (but dont start the engine) press the lockbutton it should open and close the locks on the doors. BUT THIS DOESNT HAPPEN ! Is it possible there is smth else i am not aware off?? Broken??
Its a bosch CDL 147 unit.
CEPT LPD-D/4, MPT 1340 WT LICENCE EXEMT, RTT/D/X1151, E 00 95 0902 // 0398, Bosch RK 129 433,92 MHz
Any help much appreciated...

They all have a frequency of 433.92. They have a unique code that has to be learnt by the ECU in the car before it will operate the locking. This can only be done with a Tech 2 and the vehicle's PIN.
If the key is already learnt by the car (has it ever worked or is it from another car?) then the ignition on and press the button will re-sync it. This will not pair a new key to a car, however.
There are also 3 types of the 3 button RF keys, AFAIK, so if it's not paired with the car there's a chance it won't be the right type. Have a look at a key that works on your car and see what's on the back.
Oops! Just noticed it's a 2 button key. I think what I said still holds though.

Has this particular fob ever worked?
If not, it needs to be programmed to the car with specialist equipment. Additionally, it needs to be the same type as your car accepts - most prefacelift Omega-B's, certainly UK ones, seem to be Megamos (Delphi), not Bosch.

Yes, yours had previously worked. This resync procedure only works for fobs already programmed to car, and cannot be used with new fobs.
