I have a 1998 2000 CDX which pulls badly to the left when breaking, I have read some of the info on the problem pages of this forum, but still finding it hard to get the problem sorted. I have had the car checked in the local garage, had all the stearing parts replaced, new front discs and pads and have had play in wishbones checked, which hav all checked ok. The car has been on the break test rollers and they do show that the breaks are coming on just a touch sooner on the drivers side, but both calipers check out ok, Help, regards Gareth :(

Thanks I will do Just that, do you recommend using a power bleed system? regards Gareth.

Pressure bleed (Easibleed) a good idea and low cost.
My money would be on wishbones despite what the garage says. It can very very hard to see a failed wishbone bush until the wishbone is off. I've had a garage give mine the all clear then taken them off myself to reveal that was the problem after all.
Wishbone bushes very common failure on Omegas and the sympton tends to be either vibration when braking or a pull to the side.
IF it isn't the wishbone then you may have a contaminated disk - contaminted with pad material. Have a look at it. Is it clean flat and shiney or does it have patches on it. If so you need to change the disks and pads. Vx genuine Trade Club price around £70 + VAT total for 2 disks and 4 pads.

I would also be checking the caliper sliders to make sure they do slide....
A brake fluid change is well worth doing at the same time.
I would suspect wishbones if it wasn't for the results of the brake test.

If the drivers side is coming on first it would pull right, not left so I think this is a red herring.
I suspect the front wishbone bush has gone soft on LHS.

I had the same problem....car passed an mot like that.
I had a mechanic look at it who couldnt find anything wrong.
In desperation I bought a new set of wishbones, turned out one of the rear bushes had completely failed! despite there being no movement with it on the car

If the brake roller test does not show an appreciable braking pressure imbalance then the problem is with suspension, not brakes. One disc being braked before the other is no major thing provided the end effect is the same at both wheels.
I would also think about wheel bearings as well as wishbones....

Thanks to all for your help, I have ordered two new wishbone asmb, a power bleeding unit and with the members help on how the jobs done will fit them on Sat, thanks again to everybody, best regards Gareth. :)
