Title: Metallic clicking from exhaust
Post by: Squatch on 01 April 2008, 13:14:32
With the warmer weather have been driving with windows down and noticed metallic clicking sound from exhaust - it gets louder under acceleration and disappears when idling. have an occasionally noisy lifter - could it have anything to do with it? Cheers!

I have the same noise and have been told its the manifold gasket for definite. Not sure how much work is involved though! :'(

Thank you all for info - I suspected the manifold might be the culprit...is it a tricky fix?
