Title: cam belt/timing belt replace

Hi all i recently bought my omega and what a lovely car im in love, anyway ive looked at the history and the timing belt is coming up for a renewal it ;D will be 4 years in july just want to ask could i do it my self is it easy? and how much would a garage charge? Also while im here ive spotted a bit of rust under the wheel arch, what would it cost to do either my self or a garage.

 V6, straight 4, petrol, diseasal? Any of these will give us an idea as to what your car has under the bonnet!  ;D  :y That will aslo give an idea of the ease of the cam belt belt change.  :y  :y

thats a new one is it as cheap as lpg  ::)

Dunno bout the painwork, But I did my cambelt change today.

Read the how2's, buy a VX kit (make sure it comes with the markings on it - mine didn't) do the water pump at the same time.
Hire the proper locking kit
And buy the dvd from the shop. worth every penny
save yourself probably a couple of hundred quid???
