Title: torque wrench settings
Post by: f13platform on 08 April 2008, 21:05:02
example

camshaft sensor bolt on 2 liter DOHC engine is

Nm 6----------lbf ft 4

what is that mean?

we fit camshaft sensor today but code was in code reader
i was like the camshaft is out of order.
is that possible we fit the camshaft with wrong torque setting?
that s why we still have the code in code reader?

but what

Nm stand for?
Nm = Newton Metres (metric)
Lbft = Pound Feet (Imperial)

Both are measures of force.
