Title: wash bottle sensor 2.2 cd 2001 reg

i have a problem with my sensor on the wash bottle , my on board computer keeps coming up with wash wipe level check, i have topped up the wash bottle but this message keeps coming up, could it be a dodgey sensor & if so where is it located?.

They tend to get gummed up over time, especially if washing up liquid is used in the resevoir, it seems to congeal (and blocks the pump as well. I'd be tempted to take the pump out, it twists anti-clockwise a quarter turn, it might p$ss all over your shoes but then, get the hosepipe in there and give it all a good flush out.

Replace pump (after cleaning rubber 'top hat' filter) and hopefully you'll be in business.  ::)
