Title: elite alarm

have to be near my car, to remote un lock, will not un lock from a distance,  is this normal,  have re placed the battery.

You will get better distance if you put the key blade in your mouth ::)

Mine doesn't work to well but iv'e yet to change the battery.

How close is 'near' & how far from the car do you need to be before you want to open/close your car? ;) If you open it from too far away then the courtesy light has gone off before you get to it.
