Hi,
I have 1995 Omega 2.5TD and the horn has stopped working. When I press the button the relay clicks so it is working up until then, does anyone know what the problem could be.
Also, could you help me locate the horn in the engine bay as I am going to have a look tomorrow and see if I can work.
Sorry for the question, I am not the most mechanically minded! :-/

My 99 Elite has the twin horns under the passenger side of the front bumper. Check the wiring to them, as the convaluted (sp?) sleeving had worn through the wiring for one of them.

Check the fuse, if blown, suspect one of the trumpets - I've seen a couple now go short.

Excellent, thanks for the reply, I will have a look for the problem tomorrow. :D

Horns behind front "bumper", passenger side. Held in by one 13mm bolt.
Original fault on mine - disconnected elecrically - cure plug back in.
When they went again a couple of months later, kept blowing fuses - cure replace horns. No probs since.

May sound silly but with all the rain and snow thats come down have you gone though any floods because i did in my old omega and the horn filled with water and stopped working.

Thanks for the help, all sorted now. It was a broken wire near to the horn. Knowing that it was under the passenger side of the bumper was a great help!
Cheers
