so if a tree falls in the wood but nobody's there, does it make any noise?
similarly how do you know if your alarm has gone off while you were away from the car?
since taking the power sounder out of mine I still occasionally notice the indicators flashing - presume something is still setting the alarm off, but I have no idea what!
So I would like to know how to tell if the alarm's been going off to try and check the bonnet sensor/ interior sensors again! :-/

mine makes a series of beebs when i try to open it lol

my alarm makes no noise at all. but even if it did, how would you know if it had gone off?
example being if you return to the multistorey and some criminal's had a go - maybe damaging the car in the process - you'd want to know the alarm had gone off so you could check it thoroughly!... like maybe the lights flash differently or something? (think this was a feature on a different car at least)

if you have someone with a TECH2, or take it into a vaux dealership, they can plug it in and tell you how often and when your alarm has been going off...not sue if that helps you out or not!

it's a start! thanks! not the most portable idea but something to look at once the rest is sorted :y

Did you unplug the right sounder? Power sounder has a 4 way connector on it.
If you unplugged the main sounder, something is still triggering the alarm (dead power sounder or bonnet switch perhaps?).

Doesn't the Alarm LED in the Interior Sensors switch flash at a different rate if the alarms been triggered?
