Title: EML Warning 2.5 V6 Petrol
Post by: martinc on 19 April 2008, 15:14:23
Had to have the AA out this morning to check out EML warning light, tried computer diagnostics, no go, then did the AA Version of the paper clip test. Came up with following codes:- 12 which I believe is start up, 13 and 31, all with engine running like a tractor. Understand codes are regarding camshaft sensor and O2 sensor. Is it just a matter of replacing or does it signify something(s) more sinister?
Thanks Guys

I'm no expert on V6's, but I doubt if it's anything sinister.

You say it's running like a tractor, have you checked for oil/water in the plug wells?
