Title: 2.2 facelift exhaust

Checked out a couple of web-sites looking for prices for exhaust downpipe with cat, only ones found are quoting this but for manual car. Is there much diference between this and auto. one. ??

all 2.2 exhausts are the same, manual or auto.

Please, please please get  GM exhaust.

Join ABS or get access to a trade card, cat back 2.2 zorst is £210 ish.

DO NOT buy pattern, its false economy, sound crap, and last a fraction of the time of GM.

GM exhausts are double walled, they are super silent, and will last MUCH longer that kwik fit crap  :y

edit- sorry just saw its for the downpipe only.

Still the same as far as i know  :y

What makes you think its the Cat?

Mines a 2000 X plate facelift and still on its orginal cat ....

Is it the cat or is the flexi joint whch is part of the cat section?

If the latter, replace just the flexi joint with a clamp in part at a part cost of about 20 quid!

EML is on mechanic tested cat temperature and was cooler at back than at front, I was told it should be vise-versa, I tried cat cleaner light came back on after three days, P0420 showing going to get emissions tested to make certain.
