Or 4 years, which ever comes first

As an absolute the belt and tensioners should be replaced EVERY 40K OR 4 YEARS ..Not 1 mile more or you are asking for trouble with the engine..I tend to be thinking along the 35k as I drive that annualy it is done every year.Dont leave it much longer and worth doing the water pump at same time whilst stripped down.

Thanks :y :y if the water pump was done last time would it still have to be done this time?

Usually recon on doing the water pump every other belt change therfore every 80K.

4 years or 40000 miles whichever comes first

Like already said above about the cambelt and tensioners every 40,000 miles or 4 years which ever comes first.... i have read also that water pumps every other cambelt change but personally i would change every cambelt as water pumps are only 30 odd pound.

Because 4pots have cambelt driven water pumps, i would change the waterpump on every cambelt change too...
V6 is aux belt driven, so not a big issue.
