Title: RPM signal

Hi there was driving along today and all the hands sudenely droped and the EML came on.  We cheaked the codes and it was bringing up that there was incorrect RPM signal. not suer what this means could anybody help? :-?

Crank sensor fault????
What was the actual code????   19 by chance? :-/

Failing crank sensor. A 2.0l will still run (badly) with failing crank sensor, unlike a V6.  Replacement is the option.  Hope you don't have aircon ;D

Even if it does.......remove the oil dipstick tube.......that gives enough access  :y
