Title: mis firing

hi can anyone help my meega 2.5 v6 new shape has just started to mis-fire i have just recently had a problem with mis-fire and changed the dis pac and the crank shaft senser which cured the problem 3 weeks later and it has started mis-firing again can anyone help

Hi Mate,
This problem seems like an epedemic because my engine is doing the same damn thing!
Someone suggested plug / HT leads..
check out my thread 'Omega V6 misfire' hopefully we will get past this.

Do you have oil in your spark plug wells? Have a cam cover oil leak?

no there is no oil in plug holes changed rocker gaskets recently changed dis pac and camshaft senser it must be plugs or leads would the senser in the cat cause it to mis-fire ?

Lambda sensor problem would give you an EML light on .. as you don't have that my guess is HT problem .... :(

Have you done the paperclip test ?

Well I have plenty of sets of good HT leads if you need them...but check out everything you can first :)
