Title: Oil in the spark plug wells

Hi i have just changed my spark plugs in a 2.0 and found that the spark plug wells are full of oil do you think that the rocker gasket as gone or as some one missed when filling with engine oil car runs well so dont think its any thing major, any help would be welcome

Change the rocker cover gasket,clean out the breathers, throttle body and the idle air control valve with carb cleaner, howtoos are on here if you don't know how.

thanks for your help will have a go this week end only had the car 2 weeks  my frist omega love the car just keep finding these silly thing with it hopefully this will be the last one i find

Omegas are like all modern cars they work better with regular servicing if you have the owners manual and service book follow that and you won't go far wrong a haynes book can be a great help if you can get one for that year of vehicle.

Really eay job on the 2.0 and the parts are not to rpicey either.

Use genuine bits though as the after market items are not great!

Actually Haynes and the service booklet do not mention breather cleaning at all and this is vital or you'll be changing the camcover seals again in 6 months.   On the 2.0 it also addresses stalling problems and you'll think it drives like a new car when done properly.
