Title: Car packed, ready to go...
Post by: hotel21 on 19 October 2007, 20:32:19
As the title.....

Off to Londinium in the morning to take the (very) elderly mother in law to see her sister and brother in Fulham for a week.  Done a mini service on the car today - oil & filter, cleaned the dead things out of the air filter, tyre pressures now at full load setting, washed, leathered (car, not me..) hoovered it out - and a put new air freshener in to cover those impromptu moments that those of a certain age sometimes have.........    :-[  :-X

Will be meeting up with Mick Dundee at some stage, alongwith amba06128 to hand over some bits and bobs.  May catch up with Jim as he is stationed not so far from where I am going.

Fuel was topped up to the top of the filler and computer reset so will be interesting to see what consumption the beastie gives with 4 adults, wheelchair and luggage on an extended run.....   :-/

Its worth noting that Broocie has an extra special order load of a case Tennant's lager aswell :y........just hope it does'nt affect Broocie's fuel consumption too much or the tennants might get dumped before the border ;D
